Nick Cannon & Chef Velvet Open Vegan Soul Food Restaurant In Los Angeles

Nick Cannon just recently opened a ‘SOULfull’ plant-based eatery inside a 100-year old Japanese restaurant called Yamashiro, in Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles, CA.

Called ‘The VTree Hollywood,’ the new venture by Cannon will serve vegan food for delivery and takeaway. Due to the coronavirus crisis, dine-in options are currently suspended, but Nick Cannon reportedly plans to open its doors again once things get back to ‘normal.’

This new eatery is a collaboration between Chef Velvet Jacob (a.k.a Chef Velvet) and Cannon. Chef Velvet already owns the Charlotte, NC-based vegan eatery VelTree.

Delicious vegan entrees like Seitan-based BBQ-Ribz, African Peanut Stew, Cajun Shrimp, Crab Cakes, Chick’N Waffles, among other side dishes like vegan mac and cheese and desserts like vegan red velvet cake are available.
